The peaceful town of Stillwater is plagued by mischievous goblins. These creatures have been tormenting the villagers for weeks, stealing, vandalizing property, and terrorizing livestock. The villagers, desperate to protect their homes and livelihoods, are now determined to drive the goblins out permanently. The disappearance of a crucial grain shipment has pushed the townsfolk to their breaking point, leading them to seek a definitive solution to the goblin problem. A Season of Hunger originally appeared as a sample adventure for the Shadow of the Weird Wizard Kickstarter campaign. This version updates and revises the original to work best with the final rules of the game.
